IPTV for Fire TV Setup Guide
Follow this IPTV Trusted setup guide to install the Downloader app, enable app installation permissions, download the IPTV player, and add your IPTV login details on Fire TV or Fire TV Stick.
Use only IPTV access you are authorized to view.
This guide is for installing a supported IPTV player app and entering the login details provided by IPTV Trusted.
Before You Start
Make sure your Fire TV is connected to the internet, your Amazon account is active, and your remote is working.
- Stable internet connection recommended.
- Fire TV or Fire TV Stick updated.
- IPTV login details ready if you already subscribed.
Important Note
The IPTV player app does not include a subscription by itself. You need IPTV service credentials, such as a server URL, username and password, from your provider.

Install the Downloader App
From your Fire TV home screen, go to Find or the search icon. Search for Downloader, select the orange Downloader app, then choose Download or Get.
Open Downloader Once Installed
After installation, open Downloader. If the app asks for permission to access files, choose Allow. If a welcome message appears, select OK.
Enable Downloader in Fire TV Settings
Go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options. Open Install Unknown Apps and turn Downloader to ON.
Enter the Downloader Code
Open Downloader again. In the URL or search box, enter the code 244581 and select Go. Wait for the download page or app file to load.
Accept the Download Page Terms
If the download page displays privacy or terms information, review it and select Accept only if you agree. The app file should then begin downloading.
Install the IPTV Player App
Once the app file downloads, select Install. After installation, choose Open. If you see an option to delete the downloaded APK file after installation, you can delete it to save Fire TV storage.
Open V12 OTT and Add Playlist
Open the IPTV player app. When prompted, select Add Playlist, Add User, or the option that lets you enter service login details.
Enter Your IPTV Login Details
Enter the Server URL, Username, and Password provided by IPTV Trusted. These details are case-sensitive, so type them exactly as provided.
- Service name can be “IPTV Trusted” or any label you recognize.
- Username and password must match exactly.
- If Xtream Codes login does not work, ask support for the correct format.
Wait for Playlist Processing
After entering your details, select Done, Login, or Connect. Wait for the playlist to process. When it finishes, your available categories should appear inside the app.
Start Watching
Once the playlist loads, test a few categories to confirm that your internet connection, app setup and device performance are working properly.
Troubleshooting Tips
Use these quick checks if the app will not install, login fails, or streaming is buffering.
App Will Not Install
- Confirm Downloader is turned ON under Install Unknown Apps.
- Restart the Fire TV device.
- Check that the Downloader code is still current.
- Free up device storage if the install fails.
Login Details Not Working
- Check for extra spaces before or after the username.
- Confirm the server URL is complete.
- Make sure capitalization matches exactly.
- Ask IPTV Trusted to verify your credentials.
Buffering or Freezing
- Use stable internet and test your speed.
- Restart your router and Fire TV device.
- Use wired Ethernet where possible.
- Close unused Fire TV apps running in the background.
