Check Your Smart TV Brand and Operating System

Before setting up IPTV for Smart TV, confirm your television type. Samsung TVs often use Tizen, LG TVs often use webOS, Sony and Philips may use Android TV or Google TV, and some Hisense models use VIDAA. The app store and setup method can change depending on the TV platform.

Open Your Smart TV App Store

Open the app store on your Smart TV and search for a compatible IPTV player app. Common app names users may see include Hot IPTV, Hot Player, or another IPTV player supported by your TV platform and recommended by IPTV Trusted.

Install and Open the Smart TV IPTV App

Select the IPTV player app and choose Install or Download. Once installed, open the app. The app may show a MAC address, Device ID, Stream code, Upload code, or an option to add a playlist.

Method 1: Hot IPTV or Hot Player Setup

If your Smart TV uses Hot IPTV or Hot Player, open the app and write down the details shown on the screen. The app may show a device code, MAC address, or instructions to visit the app’s upload page from a phone or computer.

• Open Hot IPTV or Hot Player on your Smart TV.
• Look for the device code, stream code, MAC address or upload instructions.
• Use the official upload page shown inside the app.
• Add the M3U playlist or server login details provided by IPTV Trusted.
• Save the playlist and restart the app if needed.

Method 2: Add an M3U Playlist URL

Some Smart TV IPTV apps use an M3U playlist URL. In that case, choose an option such as Upload Playlist, M3U URL, External Playlist, or Playlist URL. Enter the M3U link exactly as provided by IPTV Trusted.

• Playlist name can be “IPTV Trusted.”
• Paste or type the M3U URL exactly as provided.
• Do not add extra spaces before or after the URL.
• Save the playlist and wait for the app to process the list.

Method 3: Add Server, Username and Password

Some Smart TV IPTV apps use server login details instead of a single M3U link. Choose Xtream Codes, Login with Xtream Codes API, Server Login, or a similar option. Enter the server URL, username and password provided by IPTV Trusted.

• Service name can be “IPTV Trusted.”
• Server URL must be complete.
• Username and password are case-sensitive.
• Do not add extra spaces before or after login details.

Save the Playlist and Wait for Processing

After entering the M3U playlist or server login details, choose Save, Next, Done, or Connect. Wait for the playlist to process. When it finishes, test a few categories to confirm your IPTV for Smart TV setup is working.

Use Fire TV or Android TV if the Smart TV App Is Not Available

If your Smart TV app store does not have a compatible IPTV player, or if the app is slow, use a Fire TV Stick, Android TV box, Google TV device, or another supported streaming device. External devices often provide more app choices and easier troubleshooting.
